I’m Saksham Singhal, a Software Engineer at Microsoft and Gold Medalist from IIT Roorkee. My journey spans across distributed systems, large-scale data platforms, and full-stack product development, with a strong foundation in algorithms and system design. At Microsoft, I work on building scalable, high-impact software systems that power insights across global markets. Previously, at American Express, I engineered distributed computing workflows handling 100M+ records/day, designed database sharding strategies to speed up queries, and led process migrations that were recognized by leadership. Outside my full-time roles, I’ve built impactful applications — a society management app used by 900+ residents, an identity & access management system for a government electricity board, and a quiz platform with adaptive question sets and automated certifications. I enjoy mentoring students and professionals — whether it’s mastering DSA, cracking interviews, understanding system design, or navigating career growth in tech. Having experienced the path from college placements to working at top tech companies, I aim to share practical strategies and real-world insights that help others achieve their goals.
