After completing my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, I developed a solid foundation in programming languages such as C, C++, and Data structures. During the subsequent four years, I prepared for the UPSC Civil Services examination with the goal of serving my country as an Indian Administrative Service Officer. Although I did not make it to the list, this experience helped me mature into a disciplined and knowledgeable individual with expertise in various subjects, including Anthropology, Political Science, Ethics, International Relations, Geography, and more. This experience made me acquire critical skills such as decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical abilities and also made me realize that technology is at the center of solving global challenges. Consequently, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Information Systems to enhance my technical expertise, enabling me to tackle complex organizational challenges and take on end-to-end responsibilities while collaborating with others in the digital world. As an MIS graduate student at Northeastern University, I am excited to shift my career focus towards product management, leveraging my engineering background and fresh perspective gained through my UPSC preparation to make a positive impact on the world.
