I am a dedicated public health professional with a comprehensive academic journey; it began with a PCL in general medicine (health assistant), followed by a Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) and a Master's degree in Public Health (implementation research). My commitment to enhancing my skills and knowledge is exemplified by my selection as a Chevening Scholar to pursue an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), two of the world’s leading institutions in public health and social science. Starting as the in-charge of a grassroots-level health post, I progressed through various roles, contributing to community, local, provincial, and national policy, planning, and strategy development in Nepal.  In addition to my job responsibilities, I founded the Public Health Update (commonly known as Sagun’s Blog), a trusted resource for public health professionals in Nepal. I am deeply interested in health systems, health policy, implementation research, and public health informatics.
