I am on the verge of my first foray into research! Being fascinated by the intricacies of the immune system and the ways in which it combats viral infections led me to opt for a career in research, the motivation for which was brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic itself. I am a PhD candidate majoring in Medical Sciences at the Australian National University. My previous academic journey includes a Master's degree in Virology with a University Gold Medal wherein I worked on projects involving Viral Immunology and Molecular Epidemiology. My research interests span Viral Immunology, Therapeutic Virology and Immunotherapy. Talking about the real me, other than academics, I am a State Level Rifle Shooter. One can find me humming classical old-world songs and occasionally playing piano, the areas which I have started to explore recently. Art-wise, I do Calligraphy and Portrait Sketching (a skill which faded meanwhile during the journey which I am eager to revive). You can find me a bit introverted but public speaking and debating are the things which I am fond of. I like to explore new scenarios and gain diverse experiences.
