Sagar Pande is a business leader and engineer with significant global executive and commercial experience across the electric vehicle and lithium-ion battery industries. He is the Co-founder of Blaze Power, a company focused on making western electric vehicle and energy storage industries' battery portfolio better and safer using cheaper iron-based cathodes. Prior to this, Sagar worked in multiple engineering roles where he was working cross-functionally for several electric vehicle clients across the globe to engineer sustainable urban transit solutions. He is an advocate of clean energy and carbon neutral technologies for climate solutions. Throughout his career, he has conducted commercial negotiations and handled partnerships with executive and senior government counterparties in North America, Europe, and Asia. A respected subject matter expert and accomplished public speaker, Sagar has been invited to deliver keynote speeches on green economy, alternative energy technologies, lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles, and industrial-scale energy storage in several global venues. Sagar earned degrees in electrical engineering at California State University Long Beach and the University of Mumbai. He is currently pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He speaks fluent Hindi and Marathi. He has lived in Europe, India, and the United States. He is a recognized champion for immigrants, health and fitness, and diversity.
