With over nine years of experience in the XR domain, I am a passionate and innovative leader who drives the hardware product and engineering team at Jio Tesseract, India's first mixed reality platform company. My mission is to create immersive and interactive products that transform the way people communicate, learn, and play. I have a strong background in physics and electronics engineering, and a proven track record of scaling multiple XR devices from product engineering to one million units production, managing supply chain and market deployment in consumer and enterprise business lines. I value collaboration, creativity, and customer-centricity, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. As the Associate Director of Hardware Engineering at Jio Tesseract, I am responsible for overseeing the product, design, development, testing, and manufacturing of various XR capture and display devices, such as JioGlass, JioDive, and JioWand. I also lead the hardware innovation and R&D initiatives, exploring new technologies and features that enhance the XR experience. I leverage my skills in cross-functional team leadership, product engineering, and manufacturing to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, optimise the product quality and performance, and secure the resources and partnerships needed for scaling and growth. I am proud to have been a part of the founding team that co-executed a majority stake acquisition of Tesseract Imaging by Reliance Jio, and that continues to scale XR in India.
