• 6+ years of experience in Hadoop Administration Extensive hands on Big data and Hadoop Stack. • Administration of Cloudera’s Distribution of Hadoop (CDH). • Configuring various components such as HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Kafka, Spark, Hive, Hue, Zookeeper. • Deploying and Configuring Apache Hadoop Cluster on AWS Cloud. • Commissioning and Decommissioning of nodes in the cluster. • Managing and monitoring Hadoop services like Namenode, Datanode, Yarn, etc. • Loading data into cluster from dynamically-generated files using kafka • Answering service request from users through ticketing tool. • Performance tuning and solving Hadoop issues using CLI or by WEBUI. • Configuring High Availability of Namenode and Resource Manager. • Managing cluster security using MIT Kerberos and Authorization using Sentry. • Capacity Planning of a Cluster and creating roadmaps for hadoop cluster deployment • Backup and Disaster Recovery of data using snapshots policies, Backup Schedules, etc. • Moving data from one cluster to another. • Moving data from S3 to HDFS.
