A little over 2 years ago, I moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in International Business and Strategy from Lancaster University. With an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance major) and barely any corporate work experience, I moved half way across the world in pursuit of building my career from scratch. It took me a couple of months to figure out life in the UK, the graduate job market and the application process, but all the efforts did reap rewards as I landed a job at a Top 10 Accounting firm in the world nearly 6 months into graduating.
