I connected with Rushil to understand the pivot from communications to MBA. She helped me see how I can leverage my strengths to do well in CAT and helped me breakdown strategies for each section.

About me

An IIM Ahmedabad graduate, I'm currently working in consulting. My journey started with a bachelors in journalism from LSR. My desire to create a social impact led me to the Teach for India fellowship, where for two years I worked as a teacher and mentor. Teaching made me believe in brain plasticity and hence, my ability to pick up and learn difficult concepts. This mindset helped me graduate from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication with a gold medal. I realised I wanted to diversify my skill sets and take on more challenging learning opportunities. That's when I decided to prepare for CAT. I had a lot to overcome - my fear of math, competitive exams and so on. The fact that very few humanities students were pursuing MBAs didn't help either. I realised that the teaching methods in coaching classes were mostly geared towards non-humanities students, who form the largest chunk of customers for these classes. Therefore, I decided to personalise the MBA prep journey for myself by opting for self-study. And I am here to help you personalise yours!
