I FAILED to clear UPSC civil services exam thrice in a row. Am I marked with a FAILURE tag? Hi, Rupesh here! I’m an Electrical Engineer and a proud alumnus of WCE, Sangli. I was Vice President of Art Circle, an art club in WCE. I have also performed at international fests like Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay). I was an active event organizer while maintaining decent grades. As soon as I graduated from college in 2018, I started working at a construction company. I left my first job within a year because I've admired administrative services since I was a child. I prepared for UPSC Civil Services Examination for 3 years but failed to clear the exam. Many people consider this a failure but I don’t! Those 3 years gave me immense knowledge that helps me understand this world and our society better. It gave me the ability to think from political, social, economic, geographical, historical, and psychological perspectives. I have learned how to handle failures and will keep trying no matter what. I love interacting with people, and am always open to making new friends. This comprehensive package of in-built skills makes me a confident Sales Person. Currently, I work with Hexanovate, a Digital Marketing and Software Development company having a vision of making this world a better place for Businesses. I want to change the way society looks at failures, I want them to realize that failed people have DARED to stand up again and come back stronger. I’m on my next voyage of life ie, Sales.
