Here’s a glimpse into what the past 9 years of my career have looked like. I began my career as a broadcast journalist covering environment and politics—spaces where voices fight to be heard. Four years in, I pivoted to the non-profit sector, working across South India on community stability and impact. This shifted my lens and led me into public diplomacy, where I led strategy and communications for South India and 3 Union Territories with the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai. In April 2024, after over 9 years of rooted and meaningful work, I took an intentional break and now work independently as a Communications Strategist.
