AI Engineering & GenAI Mock Interview + Feedback with Roni Das

What happens in the call

• We meet on a 60-minute video call. I play the interviewer for an AI engineer, GenAI engineer or LLM engineer role.
• Tell me the company and role in the booking form and I will shape the round to match it. A typical round mixes three parts: concepts (how transformers, embeddings and retrieval work), an LLM system design question (for example a RAG assistant or an agent that uses tools), and production questions (evaluation, cost, latency, guardrails and what breaks in real use).
• I ask follow-ups the way a real interviewer does, and I tell you when an answer would not pass.
• The last 10 to 15 minutes are spoken feedback.

What you get after the call

• A written feedback report within 48 hours: what went well, where you lost points, and what a strong answer would include.
• A short list of topics to study next, in order.

Before the call

Use a laptop with a stable connection. A whiteboard tool such as Excalidraw helps for the design part.
