After my graduation like every student, the biggest question that stood in front of me “WHAT NEXT"? I had two options in my hand - 1. Go after a good-paying MNC job 2. Join a good scaling startup I chose the second option because I saw learning opportunities were a lot more in Startups compared to an MNC job. Risky you think? Two years down the lane and with tons of learnings from my team, I would say it was risky but it was worth it! :) I started off as a consumer operations associate and later got to work with a brilliant Marketing team at Playo. I got my hands into customer support, payments, affiliate marketing, online & offline branding, and social media marketing, and the learning doesn’t stop here. Planning marketing calendar, running campaigns, solving problems, keeping track of deadlines, analyzing numbers, trust me it is Super Fun Stuff! UPDATE [4.3 years in PLAYO] - Almost nearing 5 years in Playo (phew! a long time indeed). Been actively working with Clevertap for data analysis and marketing automation (user journeys). Life has been good so far. I believe my decision to join a start-up environment for learning didn’t go wrong so far.
