About me
I am a doctoral candidate at Delaware Law School, and I work as a Law Clerk at Delaware Volunteer Legal Services. I transitioned to the U.S. legal field after my LLB, LLM (Specializing in Commercial Law) from the University of Dhaka. I graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 2023. While at UB Law, I worked as a Research Scholar at The Baldy Center for Law & Social Policy. I worked as a Research Attorney at Innovative Law Group- a law firm in Intellectual Property Law practice and Legal Services in Holland, MI, for over 40 years, transforming ideas into business assets. I also contributed original legal content to TonaLaw- a Personal Injury Law Firm in Long Island, NY, USA. My other experiences include an internship in the legal cell at USAID, where I had first-hand experience working for Labor and Workers' Rights in Bangladesh. I worked pro-bono as an Intern Researcher at Akhtar Imam and Associates (AIA), a law firm that leads in commercial and "Public Interest Litigation" practice in Bangladesh. As an academician in the legal field, I lectured on core courses for an undergraduate law degree (LLB) at the Department of Law, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) for 3years.
My Original Research Papers focus on- laws and policies regarding cyberspace regulation to optimize freedom of expression and privacy as opposed to broad and ambiguous intermediary liabilities; cyber torts or torts in general under the American Jurisprudence; liabilities of Directors for a defective prospectus in Bangladesh and UK; and on the scanty exploration of legal jurisprudences on SMEs in Bangladesh. I focus on writing and improving AI Laws and Policies in the U.S. My interests are also hooked on changes in laws and policies of asylum law, public international law, comparative constitutional law, international/regional refugee laws post-COVID era, and European laws.
As for extracurriculars, I am involved in law reviews, lead student organizations, and adjudicate global rounds of moot court competitions.
