Hi, I’m Riya, an Industrial Designer and an alumnus of MIT-WPU Pune and IIITDM Kancheepuram. I’ve studied and practiced Industrial Design for 6 years, with experience across startups, design studios, and MNCs. I secured AIR 408 and Category Rank 83 in CEED, but my journey wasn’t always straightforward. Back in 2020, I was very close to getting into IIT Guwahati, but due to COVID and not having the right guidance at the time, I made a few mistakes that I wish someone had helped me avoid. That’s one of the reasons I want to share what I’ve learned with you - so you can avoid those same mistakes and give yourself a better shot at getting into IITs, NIDs, or building a strong career in Industrial Design.
