Career guidance with Ritwik Sharma

I’m a Software Engineer at LinkedIn with ~8 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and backend platforms. I’ve worked on systems used across hundreds of thousands of hosts and have experience leading projects end-to-end, mentoring engineers, and working through complex technical and career decisions.

I’m good at career guidance because I’ve gone through the process myself—from growing as an engineer to taking on larger ownership, technical leadership, and preparing for Senior/Staff-level opportunities. I can offer practical, real-world advice on career growth, role selection, interviews, and navigating the transition to senior engineering roles.
