About me

Hey, I'm Riswan Basha — Senior AI Engineer who spent years in Germany, worked across startups and large enterprises like Bosch, and recently moved back to India with a career, experience, and perspective that most people only read about on LinkedIn. I landed in Germany with no contacts, no safety net, and no one to guide me. Figured out the visa, the blocked account, the apartment hunting, the language barrier, the work culture, and even the grind of finding working student roles — all of it on my own, while working from day one alongside my Master's. I graduated from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences with a 1.9 grade, and more importantly, I understood how German companies actually think, hire, and operate. I've worked at Bosch where processes are king and everything moves with precision. I've worked at startups like Tisix where you wear every hat and nobody tells you what to do next — you just figure it out. I've served enterprise clients like ICON, building AI agents and shipping them to production. That range taught me something interviews and certifications never will — how to survive, adapt, and grow in completely different work cultures. Now I'm back in India as a Senior AI Engineer at Keytag, and I see the same questions everywhere — how do I get into AI, how do I go to Germany, how do I even start. I was that person not too long ago. 🎯 What I can help you with: → How to actually crack AI Engineer roles — the roadmap, the preparation, the tools, and what interviewers really care about → Resume reviews that make recruiters stop scrolling — I know what works in Germany, Europe, and India → The complete Germany playbook — visa process, blocked account, university selection, German language prep, and what nobody tells you before you land → How to find working student jobs in Germany — where to look, how to approach, and what companies actually expect → How to find and approach companies — not just apply blindly, but actually get noticed → Understanding German work culture — what's expected, how communication works, and how to not feel lost in your first job → Switching into AI from any background — whether you're a fresher, a career switcher, or someone with experience who feels stuck 💼 A bit about my journey: → Built my career in Germany from absolute zero — no referrals, no network, just consistent effort → Cracked working student roles while pursuing my Master's — learned the job hunt game the hard way → M.Eng. from Frankfurt UAS — Grade 1.9, worked and studied simultaneously → Now a Senior AI Engineer at Keytag, India — serving enterprise clients and shipping real AI products Whether you're a student dreaming about Germany, a fresher who doesn't know where to begin with AI, or someone experienced who wants to pivot — I've walked that exact path. The struggles, the rejections, the breakthroughs. I'll share what actually worked, not what sounds good in a post. 👆
