Here are the 3 biggest things that set me apart from the rest: → I’m willing to sign a 'golden' comprehensive legally-binding contract that most candidates won’t, unless they’re truly the best of the best. You can find the details of my legally binding promises that set me apart in link #1 of the 'Featured' section of this page. → Unlike most applicants, I didn’t attend college — a decision often seen as a weakness, but one I view as a strength. Here's why I decided to skip it: • High tuition costs • Excessive, often irrelevant coursework • Classes paced too fast, too slow, too long, too far away, poorly scheduled, or just very monotonous • The same knowledge is freely available online or in libraries • Success in this field still requires substantial self-learning via projects and/or learning on the job/internship, regardless of whether or not you have the degree Skipping college was a conscious, strategic decision that was made possible solely due to my independent, unbiased thinking skills— especially notable given my cultural, family, and industry expectations that I defied by doing so. → Given the current job-market, I know there are many qualified candidates for each job posting. Most of them will claim their degree, seniority, or company pedigree makes them a better fit for the job. But in reality, the biggest predictor of successful work-performance is one's skillset, not their titles or affiliations. Between myself and all the other qualified applicants, the difference in performance will be minimal at best— unless you’re considering true outliers, which are the rare "1-in-10,000" individuals who live, breathe, and dream in code/etc. Unlike most of the qualified candidates, I have the humility and honesty to say that even if I had 20 years of experience, a Harvard PHD, and worked at every single FAANG company there is, my job-relevant skillset could very well be similar to someone who didn't accomplish anything close to that.
