I started my career as an Assistant/Associate Manager in the banking sector. My responsibilities led to many contributions that were integral to risk mitigation during my tenure at IndusInd Bank & Axis Bank. My interest in AML analytics was transformed into one of my core expertise as I carried out consistent investigation & analysis of financial documents & statements. I always kept abreast with industry standards & developments that would assist business units and prevent operational and reputational risks. My responsibilities also included the formulation of UARs after the verification of questionable transactions. My focus was on understanding the clients inside out by documenting information using a variety of research sources, liaising with compliance teams on specific requirements and reviewing data to ensure AML regulations are met. This inclination towards compliance & regulations encouraged me to climb the ladder to the position of Business Consultant at EY. This new opportunity allowed me to work towards reviewing financial crimes compliance and business process controls, ensuring that the organisation adheres to requirements about regulations, codes or practices, business ethics, internal guideline and principles. Eventually, my career goals & objectives guided me towards the domain of Business Analytics. I want to connect my knowledge of market landscapes, financial planning & forecasting & budgeting with my skills to successfully & statistically analyse large data sets to identify effective ways of boosting organisational efficiency. From leveraging data analytics for assessing processes and determining requirements to delivering policy recommendations, as a Business Analyst I want to fill the vacuum between enterprises and their IT departments with actionable, data-driven insights that improve decision-making capabilities. I am willing to go the extra mile and transcend the organisation & balance of strategies against what is functionally, technologically, and financially feasible. I have confidence in my experience, passion, commitment and knowledge and they will provide the right guidance to any enterprise that I am a part of.
