Data drives so much in our daily lives. How can one not be interested in that, or excited by it ? Over last decade I have worked to define, source, model and quantify data across the enterprise to look at data in the context of the business's needs. My technical expertise spans traditional BI/DW, MDM, SAP ERP and Big Data Ecosystem with hands-on experience in database development, data profling ,data integration & quality, data modeling, ETL, and BI & Analytics in Investment Banking and Enterprise Risk domains. My current role juggles between Data Architect and Data Engineer working on buiding an Enterprise Datawarehouse platform using cloud and big data technologies for supporting machine learning experiments, data science models, business intelligence reporting and data exchange with internal and external partners. Being involved in all phases of SDLC – from requirement gathering to design, build, test and supporting UAT, I have been skilled in translating business requirements/user expectations into concise high-level functional specifications, use cases, gap analysis, prototyping, and design/ technical requirements.
