Interview This Week?

Most MS applicants spend ₹50 lakh on tuition and ₹0 preparing for the 4-minute conversation that decides if they actually get to use that admit.

The F-1 visa interview is not about how qualified you are. It's about how clearly and confidently you can answer 6–8 specific questions in under 4 minutes. Officers are trained to look for hesitation, contradictions, and "weak ties to India." Most rejections happen on questions the applicant knew the answer to but fumbled under pressure.

What we'll cover in 30 minutes:

  • 20 min: Live mock — I run you through real F-1 consulate questions (DS-160 verifications, study intent, university choice, finances, post-MS plans, ties to India)
  • 10 min: Feedback — Which answers triggered concern, which phrases sounded weak, how to fix delivery and body language
  • The 12 questions every consulate officer asks
  • Red-flag phrases that auto-trigger 221(g) or denial
  • How to answer "why this university" when you have 3 admits
  • Documents to carry vs. NOT carry (less is more)

What you'll send 24 hours before:

  • Your university admit letter
  • I-20 (if received)
  • DS-160 confirmation (if filled)
  • Your draft answers to: "Why MS?" / "Why this university?" / "How will you fund this?" / "What after MS?"

What you walk away with:

  • A scored evaluation of your mock
  • A written list of weak answers + how to rephrase them
  • A 1-page "day before" checklist
  • The 3 phrases never to say

Best for: F-1 applicants with admits in hand and visa slots booked. Book at least 2 weeks before your slot. Not for B1/B2 tourist visas or H-1B (different interview type).
