I'm the non-IIT kid who made it to UC Irvine, then to Google.

Failed JEE twice. B.Tech from GGSIPU, a college most Indian consultants haven't heard of. Took the GRE four times before I cracked it — final score 307-308, which every MS consultant will tell you isn't good enough. UC Irvine took a chance on me anyway. I started on academic probation with a 2.8 GPA. Finished at 3.3 with a Google offer.

Every step of that journey is something I can break down for you — and more importantly, tell you which things actually mattered and which were wasted effort.

In 60 minutes you'll get:

- A realistic university shortlist we'll build together on the call — no inflated ambition, no sandbagging

- Honest GRE strategy. When to retake, when to stop, when the score genuinely matters vs. when other parts of your profile cover for it

- SOP framing that works for non-IIT profiles (most standard SOP advice is written for students who don't have your gaps — you need a different framework)

- Post-MS job strategy — the part every consultant skips because they've never done it themselves

- Visa, loan, and parent-conversation guidance if any of those are sticking points

Book this if:

- You're targeting Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Fall 2027 intake

- You're a non-IIT / non-IIM profile and tired of advice that assumes you have a 9.5 CGPA from a Tier 1 college

- You're weighing MS abroad vs. Indian product company vs. current job and need someone who's actually done the tradeoff

- You've already talked to 2-3 consultancies and something about their advice felt generic

What you need to send before the call. Your current CGPA, GRE score (if taken), TOEFL/IELTS score (if taken), target intake and countries, target fields (DS/CS/Analytics/Business/etc.), and 3-4 sentences on your background and why MS.

What this isn't. A full application service (SOP writing, LOR coordination, university application submission — those need a package, not a 60-min call). A guarantee of admission (anyone who guarantees you admission is lying). A replacement for IELTS/TOEFL coaching or GRE prep — this is strategy, not test prep.

Show up with a doc open and ready to take notes. The university shortlist and 6-month prep timeline we build are yours to walk away with.
