I am driven by furthering the cause of economical inclusion for the disadvantaged. Currently, I am exploring new ideas to start a new venture. In my last gig at Stripe, we worked with the goal of improving the GDP of the Internet. I helped set up the Money Movement Group in Toronto. Prior to that at Wave, we helped small business owners succeed by providing them with the necessary tools to collect and manage money. I had a lot of fun building reliable and resilient services to move money responsibly. As an Engineering Director, I helped level up the engineering practices and instill a service-first mindset. And formerly, I was a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft. In my 10 years there I worked in different roles from being a software engineer to an engineering manager. I developed many of the systems behind Outlook, Sharepoint, Exchange, and OneDrive. Built and scaled services that serve more than 100+ million daily active users.
