It’s about 7 pages (~2500 words). I designed it to be crisp, actionable, and focused on the most common questions NRIs ask while planning their move and derived from my and the community's experiences.

This community is for NRIs who are planning to move back to India or have already moved. I started this community after I moved back to India after spending a decade in the US and has since grown a lot. Whether you’re in the early stages of planning, need financial and tax guidance, or want to stay updated on life in India, this group can help you navigate the transition smoothly.

How many members are in the group?
Right now, we have 500+ members, and it continues to grow. The group consists of NRIs at different stages of their move, so you’ll always find someone who has gone through the same challenges and can provide insights.
Are the groups always active?
The Finance and Making the Move groups are the most active, with new discussions happening every week. Topics range from taxation, investments, 401K and visas to practical relocation tips and emotional support. Members frequently share insights, ask questions and help each other navigate challenges. Some other groups see bursts of activity when relevant topics come up.
What will I get in these groups that I didn't from the blog?

No, this is lifetime access, and you can stay as long as you like. In fact, many members stay even after they’ve moved back to help others who are just beginning the journey!
