About me

As a Program Manager at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), I lead the Karnataka Brain Health Initiative (KaBHI), a first-of-its-kind project that aims to address common neurological diseases by training primary health care providers and physicians. This project is supported by the Government of Karnataka and NITI Aayog, and has the potential to improve the quality of life and access to care for millions of people in the state. I have over seven years of experience in public health, with core competencies in health system strengthening, capacity building, epidemiology, disaster management, and public health policy analysis. I also serve as a resource faculty for an online executive postgraduate diploma in public health care management for community health workers of Odisha state, and as a visiting assistant professor of disaster management at Padmashree School of Public Health. I hold a Masters of Public Health, a Bachelor of Dentistry, an apprenticeship in public health policy leadership and management, and a certificate of implant dentistry. I have received multiple honors, such as the All India Best Poster Presentation at the National Allied Health Conference and the University Rank in Masters of Public Health. My mission is to contribute to sustainable health solutions that benefit the health industry and the community, with a major interest in health economics.
