Rashmi leads the finance, procurement and business advisory for in-house media at the Cabinet office of the Ontario Government. With innovation, experience and out-of-the-box capabilities she has transformed the financial, budget control monitoring and tracking process into a one-stop shop of business data, analysis and visualization. Her entrepreneurial mindset, negotiation and wisdom allow her to take the right business decisions bringing value for money and fulfilling organizational objectives at the same time. She also led the Resource Management and Business Transformation unit for the Province's Fair Safe and Healthy Workplaces Division. Her rare skill-experience combo of business and technology powered by total know-how of the internal operations of the shared services in OPS makes her a complete solution package for the business. Rashmi has leveraged the right digital technologies to automate processes, prioritizing clients and employee needs. Her proficiency to multi-task, ability to focus and agile approach, makes her proficient in context switching. High pressure, strict deadlines, multiple time zones, billion-dollar client turnovers, she can deal with them all. Rashmi focuses on human-machine collaboration as a part of her leadership and inclusion strategy. When people give up, she is researching new ways to find solutions. Her commendable communication abilities with a range of stakeholders; from administrators to Deputy Ministers to blue-chip leadership have benefitted her employers in acquiring funding, undertaking successful client negotiations and coordinating multi-billion dollar projects to completion, etc. Rashmi is an achiever: • She won the Massachusetts Institute of Technology hackathon to implement a digital platform for private-public collaboration using metadata to revive the economy • Her article on Emotional Quotient for Successful Leadership made a record viewership among audiences across 170+ countries • She was a finalist in the Women in Government writing competition for the global public sector site • She has been a stewardess of mental health and diversity and has served as a keynote speaker for Emotional Intelligence on Apolitical with a 600+ audience capacity. • Has been recognized by A/Deputy Minister for demonstrated leadership in the remediation of payroll complexities • Has received spot awards from Deloitte’s Partners for exceptional quality services on billion-dollar projects and training international interns • She was honored with the Excel Award for Meritocracy in Academia by AKESI.
