About me
Rashmi is a therapist who has made a unique and impactful transition from engineering to psychology, driven by her personal struggle to find a skilled and ethical therapist during her B Tech years. This experience inspired her to pursue a Master's in Psychology, with a commitment to creating an ethical, non-judgmental, and empathetic therapeutic space. As someone who believes strongly in science, Rashmi integrates science-backed techniques into her practice, while also drawing from her artistic side to tailor therapeutic interventions to each individual. Her approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, with a systemic perspective on clients’ struggles. Rashmi is trauma-aware, queer-affirmative, and maintains an inclusive space for neurodivergence, having worked as a Vocational Trainer with Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and neurodivergence at NIEPID. Outside of her work, she enjoys connecting with nature, creating art, listening to music, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Fluent in English, Hindi, and conversational in Bengali, she is dedicated to helping others navigate their personal journeys with understanding and care.
