Networking in Law School

Feel awkward or unsure about how to network in law school? You’re not alone—and the good news is, it’s a skill you can build! I’m Rashmi Jain, a final-year law student who’s learned how to connect meaningfully with professionals, peers, and mentors (without feeling cringey).

In this session, we’ll:

• Talk about what networking really means (and what it doesn't!)
• Share simple ways to reach out to people—online and offline
• Go over how to write a good DM, email, or LinkedIn message
• Discuss how to stay in touch and build real connections over time
• Answer your questions about events, webinars, and cold outreach

You don’t need to be super outgoing to build a strong network. You just need a few tools and the right mindset—and that’s exactly what this session is about.
