Resume Review (Students)

Most likely we won't have a call unless required. We'll take an iterative approach to enhancing your resume.

While I'm friendly to talk to and interact, I'll be very direct in my comments on your resume. Don't get scared! Directness brings us to the point, makes us work on actual issues rather than beating around the bush.

I will review your Resume through and through, help you on how to customise your resume according to the role you are applying for, suggest changes, give you tips on how you can make your resume ATS friendly and solve any queries you might have related to your resume.

Some obvious misses students make:

1. Have github links and demo links for any project you've worked on. Without it, for a student, I cannot really judge the effort, quality and time you put into the project.
2. Have NO (or minimal) adjectives to describe your work. "Enhanced", "Optimized", "Seamless", "Improved" etc have no meaning unless they are followed by numbers. Remove these adjectives and get real! If you think the number is not worth putting on the resume, most likely that's showing the mirror to you. Let's go back and get some work done :) I'm there to guide you through.
3. If you cannot pay, it's ok. I do pro-bono work. The payment is to filter out non-serious folks. I don't want to waste my time with people who are not responsive, don't take my comments seriously or are not willing to put in the work.
