Karthik is currently working as an advisory service analyst at Optum after completing his MBA from IIM Calcutta, majoring in marketing. He did his 2-month summer internship at Hindustan Unilever in the sales and marketing domain. He is also an electronics and communications engineer, graduating from SSN College of Engineering, one of the top private institutions in Tamil Nadu. After graduating, he joined Accenture, where he worked for a US-based health insurance client working on business intelligence tools. Karthik is an international-level FIDE-rated chess player. He has played and received several accolades from many national and international events during his school and college days.  He is a cricket enthusiast and is even called an encyclopedia of cricket among his friends, He is an ardent fan of CSK.
