About me

I am a PhD candidate in Disaster Management at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. My research interests include agricultural risks management and community resilience. I am passionate about using my research to make a difference in the world and help communities become more resilient to disasters. I am skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as geographic information systems (GIS). I am also proficient in statistical software (SPSS, JASP, R programming) and qualitative data analysis software (AtlasTi). I have a strong academic background, with a Master of Arts in Geography, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, and a Diploma in Community-based Disaster Risk Management. I have also gained valuable work experience as a Teaching Assistant at TISS, Mumbai, a Project Research Assistant at IIT Bombay, a Research Officer with Samhita Social Ventures, and a Consultant with NIDM. I am a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong commitment to social justice. I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to the field of disaster risk reduction and community resilience.
