I am a former Engineering Manager at Google with around 15 years of experience building massive-scale systems and leading high-performing teams. Throughout my ~15 year tenure at Google (Sep 2011–Jul 2026), I navigated the entire engineering career ladder—starting as a Software Engineer 3, progressing to Tech Lead and Staff Software Engineer, and ultimately spending my last 4.5 years as an Engineering Manager. My technical footprint spans core infrastructure and highly scalable systems across Google’s most impactful products, including Google Docs, GPay, AdWords, and Google Cloud Vertex AI. I also hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Beyond code and architecture, I have been deeply involved in Google’s hiring and interviewing ecosystem since 2011, starting with interviewing and eventually driving hiring decisions for my teams as an Engineering Manager. Currently on a career break, trying to give back to society by coaching and helping other engineers.
