Rakesh is a technical architect, lead engineer, and Engineering Leader. Rakesh Chand is currently leading the engineering of the Internal tools vertical at Physics Wallah, where he has built and led a team of 20+ engineers from the ground up, including react, angular, node js developers, and QA engineers, to lead projects from ideation to launch and monitor release success metrics. Internal tools has multiple engineering pods with 10+ microservices, including several P0 services with 100k RPS scale. The Internal Tools vertical at Physics Wallah is responsible for a wide range of student-facing and internal products for operational efficiency, such as Admin, QBG (Question Bank Generator), Student Success Team Tech, Studio, automation tools, and content creation tools for client-facing features. Prior to Physics Wallah, Rakesh led the frontend engineering team in the Student Experience vertical of the Operations Tech team at IK (Interview Kickstart). Established and mentored the team, initiated projects for frontend tech excellence, and created a collaborative component library with contributions from the entire IK frontend team. Prior to IK, Rakesh was the director of the India Branch of the Denmark-based financial firm November First. He was responsible for leading the frontend effort for the international payments platform as well as leading the India branch team.
