Raj currently works as a Product Manager in the Digital Payments department at Axis Bank. He is working in the UPI customer experience and product team. Throughout his journey of undergraduation at IIT Bombay, Raj has been a part of various activities and learnt different skill sets. As a President of ShARE IIT Bombay, Raj tried to bring about a transformation in how the body functions and in the process aced his skills of leadership, communication and people management. Coming up with new initiatives, engagement ideas & competitions has brushed up his analytical and critical thinking as well. He worked as a Product Management intern with Happy Financially Services & tried to streamline the company’s loan disbursement process on a suitable CRM optimising and automating the process on the way. With his internship as a Policy Associate in Nation with NaMo, he got a taste of governance consulting and also the status of best intern on account of his noteworthy contribution. Further he even attempted a startup in 2018, went on to validate an idea of enabling 2-way dance learning through remote locations online without a live choreographer. In the process, he candidly interviewed potential customers and designed a product that customers wanted. This really honed his business, inter-personal skills & product related skills.
