I'm Rahul, a Cybersecurity professional with a strong academic background and practical experience in the field. I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering, after which, I earned the CompTIA Security+ certification, which sparked my interest in Cybersecurity. I then pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Management at the University of Warwick in the UK, where I was also awarded the highly competitive WMG Excellence Scholarship. This program not only equipped me with gaining a solid foundation in technical concepts but also how cybersecurity works from a management point of view. I'm currently working as a Security Posture Analyst in the Countercept MDR team at WithSecure, where I provide security insights to improve our client's security posture. I'm passionate about helping businesses identify and address their security risks to protect their valuable assets and data. Additionally, I'm interested in incident response and am preparing for the BTL1 certification to improve my skills on the blue teaming side. Outside of work, I enjoy learning about astrophysics and gaming in my free time. I believe in continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends, which is why I regularly attend cybersecurity conferences and engage in online courses to expand my knowledge.
