Mock Interview – Quant Research / Trading

These mock interviews are to simulate real quant interviews at hedge funds, prop desks, and trading firms, helping you build confidence and structure under pressure.

Part 1: Technical Mock Interview

Focuses on core quant skills including probability, statistics, linear algebra, brainteasers, mental math, optimization, ML fundamentals, and trading intuition. You’ll be tested on problem-solving approach, clarity of thought, and speed—followed by detailed feedback on gaps and improvement areas. (40 mins)

Part 2: Behavioral / Fit Mock Interview

Covers research discussion, strategy walkthroughs, portfolio decisions, failures, risk management, and career motivation. Emphasis is on communication, decision-making, and how you think as a quant or trader. (10 mins)

Each mock ends with actionable feedback, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and concrete next steps to improve interview performance. (10 mins)
