I am Rachna Shroff, a first-generation lawyer with 14 years of experience across diverse sectors, including NBFC, Iron and Steel, Gaming, and Technology. My legal journey has taken me through top law firms like Naik Naik & Co., and I have had the privilege of working on cases at the Calcutta and Bombay High Courts. I have also served as the Legal Head for a gaming company, further deepening my expertise in this dynamic industry.
My pursuit of an MBA in HR and Finance, where I earned a Gold Medal, was a turning point. It not only deepened my understanding of business but also ignited my passion for teaching. This passion first took shape when I was asked to deliver a lecture on the Constitution to my batchmates in the Good Governance and Public Policy Program.
Following this, I taught 140 lectures on a leading Ed-Tech Company's Technology and Fintech course, where I was honored to be rated among their top educators. Around this time, I also received an offer letter from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) for my LLM. However, destiny had other plans, and I chose to stay in Bharat and establish **LawswithRachna**—my edtech platform.
I have been invited as a guest lecturer by some of the top law schools, including GLC, NMIMS, MNLU, and TRCL, Mumbai. Additionally, I’ve been a part of significant panel discussions, including the Gaming panel at IDGS organized by CII and the IP and Technology panel at NMIMS, Mumbai.
The journey has been one of growth, learning, and an incredible ride. Through LawswithRachna, I conduct regular free webinars, which have become the most enriching part of my journey. Additionally, I offer top-rated courses on Contract Drafting, Redlining and Negotiation, IPR Laws, and Gaming, Esports, and Sports Law. Mentoring and career counseling come naturally to me, and I owe much of my success to the joy of helping others navigate their careers.
I take pride in introducing the word "practical" into upskilling courses, where I teach what’s not in the books—real-world application in the business landscape.
