Mindfulness gets talked about a lot, but most of it is either too vague to be useful or makes it sound like something you need a special personality for. Mindfulness is a set of skills, and like any skills, they can be learned and practiced.
In a session, we work on what mindfulness actually is and is not, how to use it in practice when your mind is doing what it does, and how to build it into daily life in a way that is realistic rather than aspirational. This is not about sitting in silence for an hour or achieving a particular mental state. It is about developing a different relationship with your thoughts and experiences so they have less hold on you.
Useful for anxiety, stress, burnout, low mood, sleep difficulties, and the general sense of being on autopilot and not quite present in your own life.
