I’m Prudence Zhu, CPA and fee-only financial planner. I came to the US in 2012 with few belongings, and achieved financial freedom in 2021 through saving and investing. I’m a mother and a lifelong learner, living in Phoenix, AZ with my loving husband and children. I was born in rural China in the mid-80s and I’ve been focused on my personal financial independence since I was young. After many costly lessons and years of continuous effort, I finally built my path to financial freedom. My path wasn’t easy and that’s why I founded Baoba USA: to provide guidance so that others can have a faster and more confident journey to their financial freedom. To me, financial freedom means living a life that I enjoy, having confidence in my financial decisions, and having the resources to drive changes I want to see in the world.
