or candidates who want one advisor across the entire application, not a series of disconnected sessions.
You get 180 minutes of my time, structured however your application needs it. Take it as one intensive block, or split it across the cycle — a positioning session in week one, essay work in week four, interview prep the night before. You decide the shape; I'll recommend one if you'd rather I did.
What we can cover:
• Profile positioning — the narrative spine your whole application runs on, especially if your background is govt, PSU, R&D or otherwise non-traditional
• School & round strategy — where you're genuinely competitive, and where you'd be spending an application fee for nothing
• Resume rebuild — line-by-line, reconstructed for admissions rather than recruiting
• Essays — brainstorm, structure, and rewrite guidance across every prompt
• Interview preparation — realistic mock, followed by a candid debrief
• Scholarship positioning — including Forte and women's fellowship applications
The advantage of working this way is continuity. By our second session I know your profile, so no time goes into re-explaining your background — we start where we left off.
I take a limited number of these per cycle so each one gets real attention.
