Experienced software Engineer with ~5 years of experience transitioned into Big data development field. XXX-----XXXX (past) I have worked as an SDE2 for the OCI group in Oracle. Prior to that, have worked on developing parallel and distributed algorithms at Texas A&M University where I developed B-Flashsort and multi-way merge sort algorithms. I have also gained research experience in ML and AI domain by doing multi-disciplinary research in applied machine learning to healthcare and speech-processing domain. Hence, I am passionate about working in either engineering or machine learning domain. Prior to joining TAMU for the graduate program, I have worked at Cisco Systems, Bangalore. While studying at IIIT-Bangalore, I got an opportunity to do research internship at the University of Nottingham (England) where I interned as a full-stack developer for (NHS) sponsored project. Exposure to different work culture through international research lab, academia, and industries (India and US) has given me a strong and far-sighted vision. Moreover, it has enhanced my analytical skills to visualize the problem from a wider as well as from deeper perspective.
