I am a PhD level scientist with experience leading and overseeing the development and validation of genomic biomarker assays for clinical and research applications, using platforms such as qPCR, ddPCR, NanoString, NGS, and scRNA-seq. I have more than 10 years of experience in immunology and infectious disease research, and a PhD in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. I also excel at proposal development, writing, and management, delivering high-quality, strategic, and competitive documents to sponsors on time. I have successfully authored and submitted more than 30 proposals from 2020 to 2023, with a cumulative award rate of over 25%. Additionally, I have contributed to development and launch of at least two products, as well as scientific communication and dissemination, through cross-functional collaboration, technical literacy, and performance metrics. My mission is to advance science and help people through innovative and reliable solutions. I have also carried a lifetime love for music alongside my drive for advancing science, which spans classical Indian music training and singing/beatboxing in competitive collegiate a cappella.
