Hi, I'm Pritish Yuvraj, a Software Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. I'm passionate about using technology to make the world a better place, and I'm particularly interested in using AI to keep people safe online. I have a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where I focused on Data Science. I also have a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology. At Meta, I've worked on a variety of projects related to child safety and wellbeing. I'm currently the Wellbeing TL for Instagram Broad Cast Channel Wellbeing (IG BC), where I'm working on building new classifiers to identify and remove harmful content. I'm also exploring using LLM's to fine-tune B&H models, which could reduce our reliance on human raters. In addition to my work at Meta, I'm also a mentor to high school students at IMentor, and I'm a dance teacher for Bollywood dance form at @SFBollywoodClub. I'm excited to continue learning and growing in my career, and I'm committed to using my skills to make a positive impact on the world.
