As a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley, I design and develop data engineering solutions that enhance the security and performance of the firm's systems and networks. I have 4 years of experience in working with various open source technologies in the big data ecosystem, such as Spark, Hive, Sqoop, Python, Scala, HDFS, Hadoop, Kafka and AWS(EMR, Athena, Redshift, S3, Glue ). Previously, I was a Data Engineer at Jio Platforms, where I implemented critical security use cases to augment threat hunting and forensics capabilities, using data from multifarious sources. I enabled security analysts to iterate over large datasets and isolate advanced cyber threats, such as data exfiltration, API abuse, password spray attacks, port scan attempts, and network intrusions. I also built visibility over internet facing assets for vulnerability assessment and anomaly detection. I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in 2020.
