Prem is a Data Scientist at Square where he works leads Data Science for the Invoices Core Payments & Bill Pay products. Invoices is the 3rd largest product within the Square ecosystem by revenue. On a day-to-day basis, he works with product managers & engineers to experiment, model and drive insights into growth and expansion of Core Payments products. He strives to ask as many questions as possible to come up with user-friendly and easily consumable solutions to customer problems. While working on one, he likes to focus on the last mile as equally as the heart of the solution giving equal importance to defining analysis methods to tackle the problem as well as make it presentable for a wide audience. He is proficient in Python, R leveraging several libraries including scikit-learn, tensorflow for end-to-end machine learning workflows and has extensive experience in using Redshift, & Snowflake among other databases. He also works with Databricks, Looker & Tableau on a daily basis. He has a Master's Degree in Information Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Ahmedabad University.
