About me

👋🏻 I am Prem Kumar Sharma, a recent graduate from IIT Madras with a BS in Data Science & Applications, currently working as a Project Research Associate at IIT Bombay under the prestigious Post-Baccalaureate/Pre-Doc Fellowship. I thrive at the intersection of data, design, and automation, whether it’s building AI tools, mentoring students, or leading hackathons. At IIT Bombay, I am working on advanced AI and signal processing integrations under the mentorship of Prof. Vikram M. Gadre, contributing to research-grade systems that blend machine learning with real-world applications. At Loqo AI, I contributed to cutting-edge Generative AI applications, including systems based on LLMs, Whisper, BLIP-2, and RAG-based retrieval pipelines. I've developed full-stack applications, designed APIs, and built scalable automation pipelines for text-to-video generation and other multimodal use cases. I am also deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring. I’ve trained over 500 students in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Power BI, and UI/UX design, led bootcamps, and conducted project evaluationsguiding learners not just in tech skills, but also in career development.
