HOW ARE WE REMOVING CO2 FROM THE ATMOSPHERE?

1: Biochar is biomass (wood or agricultural waste) that is heated with a pyrolisis processs (in absence of oxygen). This process sequesters the carbon naturally found within the biomass, preventing it from turning into CO2 when it eventually rots. This environmental charcoal can be used to

deeply regenerate soil. It can be produced industrially but also by the world's billions of farmers, including those who cook with "Sun24" cookfires.

2: Photos or video proof of every kilo of biochar sequestered is posted on www.carbonfacesocial.org or in the Facebook group “Biochar carbon credits by Carbonface” or on any platform where you may request.

3. The biochar is mixed into the earth as organic fertilizer while planting seeds/trees, removing the carbon from the atmospheric cycle for thousands of years and creating food abundance.

4: The sequestering is verified, and then CharTonsTM (credits representing the carbon removal) are issued to the Un-MinerTM (the people putting back the carbon into the soils).

5: Each Un-MinerTM sets the selling price of their CharTonTM carbon removal credits.

6: Companies and/or consumers can offset their footprint or support carbon removal by buying their CharTonTM carbon credits or buy buying a seed/tree kit to be planted.

FUN FACTS TO KNOW:

Each Tonne of biochar is equivalent to roughly 2.5 tons of CO2 being removed! You produce 0.5 tonne of CO2 a year simply by driving a regular car for about 11,000 km!

Every action counts: just one kg of biochar can help regenerate about one square meter of agricultural land!
