Our team at Citizen has pioneered an innovative Notification System, integrating Natural Language Generation and MLOps, to elevate user engagement significantly. With a Master's degree in Data Science from Northeastern University, my expertise lies in crafting intelligent systems that harness machine learning for social impact. The Notification System project, in particular, has showcased our commitment to enhancing Daily and Weekly Active Users through advanced GPT-driven notification title rewrites. Previously at Nextdoor, we developed an automated fake name detection system, which substantially improved our moderation process. The deployment of a novel Probability of Infractions model, infused with Tree of Thoughts prompting, further refined our detection capabilities. My role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences also reflects a dedication to advancing NLP, reducing pipeline inference times and integrating emotion detection to analyze complex social movements like #MeToo.
