Hi, I am Praveen Joshi, and before you know more about me, Artificial intelligence is my second love. I discovered that with a mocktail of hard work, constant eyeball movements, and sheer serendipity. Although Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning wasn't on my stars since childhood, a career journey coupled with a masterstroke of luck paved the path. It all started with my love for money and spirit to join the Merchant Navy as an easy way out. The Merchant Navy job was promising as you don't have to talk a lot, and yet you get to earn decently with voyages around serene backdrops. But but... My parents figured that hardship I can't bear, and they asked me to go for mechanical engineering. With their logic, after 4 years in mechanical, if the wish persists, then the Navy will be just a 2-year course. While I was in my first year, I figured how correct my parents were when I could not move the Charpy test Hammer :(. I moved to computer science. Months and years passed by and keeping up my search without any hustle, I failed CAT with 84 percentile. It was 4th year, and I opted out of the college placement High Attitude Problem :P. I did a .net course from Ducat and learned exponentially in those five months. Gained knowledge that I was unaware till 4th year. Started my company iThesisArt and did lots of freelance work. Then, I found that my skills are getting saturated and not surpassing those working in the industry. I joined Infosys, then Siemens, and Accenture. Working with .net stack, open-source stack over business requirements to build prediction models and machine learning pipelines I was amazed by the power of AI and how it disrupted older ways of doing things. Now the urge to know more was more intense than ever. I ventured from open-source to .net to python and R based technologies. Once I found Artificial Intelligence, I got intrigued by the simplicity of mimicking humans :). I did tons of certifications. In the end, when it wasn't enough, I did my masters in AI and graduated with flying colours. Now I am doing a PhD in EDGE Intelligence. I am living my dream of building a solution that can bring the healthcare of different governments together. All that I can offer is my AI and ML wisdom. Do I charge for it?? Yes!!!
