MAANG Mock Interview

Session Flow:

1. Quick Introduction (5 mins)

• Candidate introduces themselves, as in a real interview
• I’ll walk you through the session format — coding/system design + behavioral + feedback

2. Technical Round (20–30 mins)

Tailored to your role and level:

DSA / Coding (MAANG-style):

• 1–2 LeetCode-style problems
• Evaluate: problem-solving, edge cases, communication, optimization
• Sample:
• “Find the first duplicate in an array”
• “Design an LRU Cache”
• “Longest substring without repeating characters”

System Design (for experienced roles):

• Example prompts: “Design YouTube” or “Design a chat app”
• Focus: architecture, trade-offs, scalability, clarity

3. Behavioral Round (10–15 mins)

STAR-format questions to assess communication, ownership & leadership:

• “Tell me about a challenging team situation”
• “When did you take initiative beyond your role?”

4. Feedback + Action Plan (10–15 mins)

• What you did well
• Areas to improve
• Clear next steps for practice & growth
• (Bonus: you’ll get a prep checklist or personalized feedback summary after the session)
